Finding solutions to the multidimensional challenges bedeviling Africa’s security space will be the focus of discussion as a wide array of subject matter experts gather at the 18th edition of the Africa Security Watch Conference this December 10th to 11th 2024, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.
The high-powered conference will be held at Radisson Blu Hotel in Doha, Qatar.
The subject matter experts who will be delivering papers include the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa who will be the lead speaker; the Board Member of Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayo Ogunsan; Executive Secretary/CEO of Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun; Board of Trustees of the Security Watch Africa Initiative, Prof. Henri Fouche; Comptroller of Nigeria Customs, CGC Bashir Adewale Adeniyi; and National Coordinator of National Counterterrorism Centre, Maj. Gen. Adamu Garba Laka.
Others are Brig. Gen. Leon Duplessis (retd), Captain Mark Blaine (retd), Brig. Gen. John Waweru (retd), Prof. Barend Prinsloo, and Maj. Lancelot Anyanya (retd).
Keynote speeches will be delivered by Governor of Bayelsa state, Gov. Douye Diri; Hon. Marciano Silva Barbeiro; Hon. Abdoulie Sanyang; and Vice Admiral Zubairu Gambo retd.
The conference promises to generate meaningful deliberations and actionable steps which will lead to veritable peace, security, and stability across Africa.
